Africa's sports economy is growing faster than the data explaining it. The BOSA Executive Outlook is the annual benchmark for what the people running the sector actually expect: a pan-African read on where capital, media rights, infrastructure, technology, sponsorship and audiences are heading over the next 12 months.

The findings will be published as the BOSA 2027 Executive Outlook, combining BOSA's analysis of the African sports business with the perspectives of the professionals making those decisions.

Who should take part?

This survey is for professionals who work in, advise, invest in or make decisions about the African sports business. You do not need a C-suite title. What matters is your professional involvement and knowledge of the sector, not the size of your organisation.

That includes brands and sponsors, media and rights holders, clubs and federations, policymakers and regulators, agencies and marketers, investors, and technology operators. Founders and operators at small companies are also welcome.

How it works

The survey is online and self-completion, and takes 15 minutes. It closes at 23:59 WAT on Sunday 29 November.

It opens with a short set of questions so we can segment responses by market, sector, seniority and level of involvement. You will be asked:

• Where you are based?

• Which African markets you work across?

• Which part of the sports business you work in?

• How you would describe your role?

Your responses are confidential. You do not need to name the organisation you work for, and results are reported in aggregate only. Where a group is too small to report safely, we suppress the figure rather than publish it. We never attribute a view to an individual or a named organisation.

If you would rather answer the open questions in French, Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese, please do. We will translate responses at the analysis stage.
