Cameroon collected a $2 million winners' cheque after beating Malawi in Rabat to claim a maiden Women's Africa Cup of Nations title, the single biggest prize money in the competition's history.

The champions in Morocco will bank $2 million, with runners-up taking $750,000 (up 50%) - and the third-placed side collecting $500,000. All 16 competing nations are guaranteed $150,000 in base participation funding.

The 16-team edition of the competition will be available well beyond the premium bouquets that have historically carried CAF's flagship men's tournaments.
