Global sports streaming giant DAZN has added Africa to its broadcast rights portfolio for the T100 Triathlon World Tour, giving fans across the continent free access to one of triathlon's most prestigious competitions.

The expansion means all races on the T100 calendar are now available at no cost to viewers in Africa, joining an international broadcast footprint that already covers the United States, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

The T100 Triathlon World Tour serves as the official World Championship Tour for long-distance triathlon, jointly backed by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and World Triathlon. Competitors vie for the T100 World Champion title and a slice of a $4.2 million prize fund, earning their spots through PTO World Rankings and prior T100 results.

DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev described the platform's commitment to "supporting audience growth for emerging sports with strong global appeal," pointing to the Tour's combination of elite competition and world-class athletes as a key draw.

PTO CEO Sam Renouf welcomed the continued partnership, noting that extending reach into Africa marks a significant step for the Tour now heading into its third season.

With African sports consumption increasingly shifting to digital and streaming platforms, the free-to-access model could prove an effective entry point for growing triathlon's fanbase on the continent.

Upcoming T100 events include stops in Singapore, Pamplona-Navarra (Spain), San Francisco, and Vancouver through the summer.
