Nigeria Set to Host 2026 E1 Series Boat Race For the Second Time

E1 Series - the world’s first all-electric boatrace championship, has officially confirmed its return to Lagos, Nigeria, for the 2026 season.

The 2026 season is expected to further solidify E1’s global footprint and positioning Lagos as a key stop on the world racing map.

Lagos first hosted its inaugural season in October 2025.

At the Lagos GP, Team Brazil claimed victory.

E1 is backed by the likes of LeBron James, Didier Drogba, Tom Brady and Rafael Nadal.

Other cities that will host the tournament in 2026 include: Lake Como, Italy, and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
