The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has announced a new commercial partnership with ProBottlers, naming the beverage company the federation's Official Hydration Partner in a two-year agreement valued at $120,000 per year.

Under the partnership, ProBottlers will supply water and energy drinks to Zimbabwe's national football teams, including the senior men's and women's national teams, as well as youth national teams and grassroots development programmes across the country.

The agreement will support training camps, international fixtures, youth tournaments, and grassroots events, ensuring consistent hydration and athlete welfare support throughout Zimbabwe's football ecosystem.

Corporate Support Returns to Zimbabwean Football

The deal comes shortly after ZIFA launched the BancABC Roots Impact Programme, a nationwide grassroots development initiative designed to identify and nurture young football talent across Zimbabwe.

Together, the initiatives reflect growing private sector engagement in Zimbabwean football, as the federation works to strengthen governance, improve operational standards, and rebuild commercial confidence among corporate partners.

Investment in Player Welfare and Operations

The $240,000 total investment will support logistical operations during national team assignments while improving player welfare across development structures.

Consistent access to hydration products is particularly important as Zimbabwe's national teams compete in international tournaments and training environments that require high performance standards and structured athlete support systems.

Expanding Commercial Partnerships in Zimbabwean Football

ZIFA Head of Commercial Mark Ruck described the agreement as part of a broader strategy to attract corporate investment into the sport.

"This partnership demonstrates the growing confidence of the private sector in Zimbabwean football," Ruck said. "We are building relationships that align with our long-term objectives and strengthen the commercial ecosystem of the game."

As ZIFA rolls out structured development initiatives and seeks to professionalize football administration, partnerships such as the ProBottlers deal signal renewed commercial momentum around the sport in Zimbabwe.
