One of South Africa's most successful football clubs, Orlando Pirates, has announced a naming rights partnership with Dutch brewing company Amstel. The naming rights partnership will see the Orlando Stadium be renamed to the "Orlando Amstel Arena". The partnership will also see Amstel become the official beer partner of Orlando Pirates Football Club.

The stadium officially opened in 1959 and was renovated between 2008-2010, costing R280 million (approx. Appx $34M) at the time. The stadium has also previously hosted rugby, football, concerts, and other events.
