Sevilla FC brings Tanzanian Champions Young Africans SC into World Club Alliance Program

Under the partnership, Sevilla FC will provide sporting and technical advisory support, with a strong emphasis on: Coach education and technical development, Youth talent identification and Pathway structuring, Club operations and broader football business expertise.

Young Africans SC, founded in 1935, is Tanzania's most decorated club with 31 league titles, including four consecutive domestic doubles. The club has also been competitive continentally, reaching the 2023 CAF Confederation Cup Final and consecutive CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

This partnership reflects three broader industry trends:

1. European clubs expanding structured development networks into Africa

2. Growing emphasis on professionalization and youth pathways across East African football

3. African clubs seeking technical, operational, and commercial benchmarking against established European models

The collaboration with Young Africans, supports an ongoing structural transformation focused on youth development and operational modernization. For Sevilla, it strengthens global brand positioning while extending technical influence into one of Africa's most passionate football markets.

This is more than a football partnership for both teams—it is infrastructure, knowledge transfer, and long-term capability building.

According to Sevilla FC, the agreement was formalized at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium following meetings between Sevilla president José María del Nido Carrasco and Young Africans president Hersi Ally Said.
