Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) Through Tusker Commits Additional KSh 40M To HSBC SVNS Division 2 in Nairobi

Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL), through its flagship brand Tusker, has committed KSh 40 million (approx. USD 310K) in sponsorship for HSBC SVNS Division 2 in Nairobi, as Kenya prepares to host a World Rugby Sevens international event for the first time. The tournament will take place on February 14–15, 2026, at Nyayo Stadium, making Kenya only the second African nation after South Africa to host a World Rugby Sevens Series event.

Sponsorship breakdown:

  1. KSh 20m (approx. USD 155K) – Tournament delivery and operations (via Kenya Rugby Union)

  2. KSh 12m (approx. USD 93K) – Fan experience and experiential activations

  3. KSh 8m (approx. USD 62K) – Publicity and marketing support

The tournament will take place on 14–15 February 2026 at Nyayo Stadium, making Kenya only the second African nation after South Africa.
