The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has officially awarded broadcast rights across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to beIN MEDIA GROUP, extending a partnership that has spanned more than a decade.

The partnership reinforces beIN's position as the leading Olympic broadcaster in the region and reflects a long-term strategic alignment with the IOC. Beyond rights acquisition, the partnership shows a shared commitment to expanding the reach, commercial impact, and cultural influence of the Olympic Movement across MENA.

Under the deal, beIN SPORTS and its OTT platform TOD will deliver comprehensive coverage of the Olympic Games, including live events, highlights, and original programming. The agreement covers the Milano Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028 Games in the USA.

The renewal shows three key trends: Continued consolidation of premium sports media rights within regional powerhouses, strong long-term investment in Olympic properties despite shifting global media economics and growing importance of OTT platforms in distributing Tier 1 global sports content.

With coverage spanning nine dedicated beIN SPORTS XTRA channels and streaming via TOD, the agreement further solidifies beIN's dominance in MENA sports broadcasting and strengthens Olympic visibility across North Africa.
