Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) has secured a multi-year broadcast partnership with DAZN, marking a significant distribution milestone for Africa's leading mixed martial arts organisation.
Under the agreement, DAZN will carry EFC events free-to-view for audiences worldwide, excluding Sub-Saharan Africa and Poland. The deal expands DAZN's global combat sports offering while giving EFC its broadest international platform to date.
The partnership launches with EFC 134 on June 4 in Johannesburg, South Africa, headlined by a women's flyweight title fight between reigning champion Amanda "Mad Dog" Lino and Nigerian challenger Juliet Chukwu - a contest being billed as one of the most significant women's championship bouts in African MMA history.
The card also features a flyweight clash between Sisa Jungula and Thapelo Seabi, as well as Tebatso Molele against Zimbabwe's Lecture Gumbi, with several other regional fighters rounding out a deep lineup. Prelims begin at 15:00 local time, with the main card starting at 17:00 at the World Sports Betting EFC Arena.
DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said the deal reflects the platform's broader ambitions beyond its established combat sports slate. "We are helping EFC expand their global reach and introduce elite African MMA to fans around the world," he said.
Six additional EFC events are scheduled on DAZN through the remainder of 2026, running monthly from July through December.
