Hudl Partners With Young African Promises to Put African Talent on the Global Scouting Map
Sports performance platform Hudl has signed a multi-year exclusive scouting rights agreement with Young African Promises, an elite football academy operating across Ghana and Senegal - giving professional clubs worldwide direct access to some of the continent's most exciting young talent.
Under the deal, Hudl will have exclusive rights to video and data from Young African Promises' Future Talent Tournaments - two U18 competitions held annually in Accra, Ghana. That content will be made available through Hudl Wyscout, the world's largest database of football video and data, giving scouts and clubs a streamlined route to discovering African prospects.
It's a partnership with real pedigree behind it. Players who have come through the Future Talent Tournaments have gone on to secure transfers to clubs including Anderlecht in Belgium and São Paulo in Brazil.
"Our mission has always been to create real opportunities for young players," said Oscar Rodríguez, Founder of Young African Promises. "Having the Future Talent Tournaments available on Hudl Wyscout gives clubs around the world direct access to some of the continent's most exciting prospects."
Kerry Morrow, Head of Youth Football at Hudl, echoed the sentiment: "This ensures clubs and scouts will have access to the Future Talent Tournament through Hudl Wyscout - supporting talent identification across African football and giving these exciting talents the perfect platform to showcase their potential to a global audience."
